June 2022, Exports of Sumatera Utara rise to 65,87 percent.

Abstract

The value of exports through loading ports in North Sumatra in June 2022 increased compared to May 2022, from US$761.86 million to US$1.26 billion, an increase of 65.87 percent. When compared to June 2021, North Sumatra's exports increased by 43.30 percent

The category of goods that experienced the largest increase in North Sumatra's export value in June 2022 to May 2022 was animal/vegetable fats and oils of US$408.39 million (249.58%).

Exports to China in June 2022 were the largest at US$229.70 million, followed by the United States at US$131.65 million and India at US$74.52 million with the contribution of the three reaching 34.50 percent.

According to the main group of export destinations in June 2022, exports to the Asian region (outside ASEAN) were the largest with a value of US$480.12 million (62.01%).
