Exports of North Sumatera July 2017 US $ 768.61 Million

Export value through loading port in North Sumatera area in July 2017 increased from June 2017, from US $ 632.36 million to US $ 768.61 million or increased by 21.54 percent. Similarly, when compared with July 2016, the value of exports of North Sumatra increased 37.55 percent.

The greatest increase of export value of North Sumatera in July 2017 to June 2017 occurred in fat and animal / vegetable oil category (HS 15) amounted to US $ 71.81 million (29.21%), followed by chemical products (HS 38) amounting to US $ 21 , 48 million (38.83%), rubber and rubber goods category (HS 40) amounted to US $ 21.01 million (21.38%).

Exports to the United States in July 2017 were the largest at US $ 91.72 million, followed by China at US $ 88.56 million and India with US $ 74.22 million with third contribution of 33.11 percent.

According to the group of export destinations in July 2017, the Asian region (outside ASEAN) was the largest with a value of US $ 248.94 million (32.39 percent).
