Number of foreign tourists (tourists) who visited North Sumatra through three (3) entrance in November 2016 reached 23,650 visits, an increase of 0.96 percent compared to that came in October 2016, which reached 23 426 visits. Similarly, when compared with the same month in 2015, the number of tourists in November 2016 increased by 25.06 percent, from 18 911 visits in November 2015 rose to 23,650 visits.
Month of November 2016, tourists from Malaysia is the largest state that as many as 11 684 visits or 49.40 percent of the total foreign tourists visiting in North Sumatra.
